Necn Reports from Baltimore

Justin Michaels is reporting live on the situation in Maryland

Necn's Justin Michaels is reporting live on the situation in Baltimore this week after riots broke out Monday following the funeral of Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old black man whose died from a spinal-cord injury while in police custody.

Thousands of people took to the streets Wednesday, with activists telling necn they were looking to enact change without resorting to violence.

Some fans who went to Camden Yards on Wednesday to exchange their tickets said they thought fans should have been allowed in.

"Obviously, I don't like it," said Kenny Neal. "I bought the tickets for the games I want to see, but I understand."

"We are disappointed about this," said Russell Nichols. "It looks like things are calm enough around here now that we could have come to the game during the middle part of the day at 2 o'clock and be out of here before nightfall or any of the crowds started to build up again, if they're going to do that."

Salvatore Amato came all the way from New Jersey to see Wednesday's game.

"You know, I would like to have seen the game open to the public, but I understand, and I hope things get better," he said.
