New Hampshire Police Search For Man Who Robbed Campus Convenience Store in Keene

Man allegedly assaulted the clerk at the Keene State College store before fleeing with cash

New Hampshire police are searching for the man they say robbed the convenience store on the campus of Keene State College on Saturday in Keene.

Police said the man entered the campus store at 152 Winchester Street at 4:20 p.m. where he allegedly assaulted the store clerk.

The robber then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, fleeing south onto the Keene State College campus.

Police said the clerk received minor lacerations to his face but declined transport to the hospital.

The robber is said to be between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build and brown hair. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and light colored jeans at the time of the robbery.

Police said the college was never placed on lock down during the incident and there is no information to believe the students are in danger.
