Police Seek Information About Woman's 1981 Disappearance

Denise Beaudin was last seen on Thanksgiving in 1981

New Hampshire authorities say based on new information, they now consider a Manchester woman who was last seen 35 years ago a missing person.

The attorney general's office says Denise Beaudin's family last saw her on Thanksgiving day in 1981 with her boyfriend, Robert "Bob" Evans, and her infant daughter. When relatives went to visit her at her home a few days later, the couple was gone, and her family assumed they had left town to avoid financial troubles.

Investigators say the child, now in her 30s, is alive and well. They also say they know the whereabouts of Evans.

Now, authorities say they have received new information, and are asking anyone who knew Beaudin or Evans between 1976 and 1981 to contact police. Beaudin graduated from Goffstown High School in 1976 and later worked at General Cable and the Demers Nursing Home in Manchester.

Authorities believe Beaudin may have been the victim of a crime.

Investigators are not saying exactly why they’re bringing the case back to the forefront, but they do say they will hold a press conference in the next few weeks, to reveal more details.
