An 18-year-old man was shot and killed in New Haven on Tuesday night and police believe he was targeted.
Police found Maurice Richardson on the ground in a parking lot of 210 Davenport Avenue around 9:17 p.m. and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Throughout the morning, Richard's friends and family members arrived at the scene of the shooting and lit candles in his memory.
Police are following leads and ask anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information to assist in the investigation to call New Haven Police at 203-946-6304.
