Newspaper Delivery-Man Fatally Hits Tree on Route

Maine State Police say a Farmington man was killed in a Wednesday morning crash when his vehicle slammed into a tree in Salem Township.

Maine State Police say a Farmington man was killed in a Wednesday morning crash when his vehicle slammed into a tree in Salem Township.

Thomas Poulin, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene on Route 142 around 6:30 a.m.

Poulin delivered newspapers for the Morning Sentinel and the Sun Journal. He was near the end of his route when he lost control of his vehicle.

The crash was investigated by Maine State Police and the Franklin County Sheriff's office.
