Norwich Sex Offender Arrested for Failing to Register Address

A 58-year-old convicted sex offender from Norwich is facing new charges for failing to register his address, according to police.

Raymond F. Warren Jr. was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with three counts of failure to register as a violent sex offender.

According to police, Warren was convicted in 2002 of third-degree sexual assault, requires him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Police said he failed to notify them of his address on three occasions between October 2014 and April 2015.

Warren was taken into custody and held on $10,000 bond. He’s due in court Thursday.
