A male adult and a child are hit by a car at 640 Commonwealth Avenue.
EMS and the Boston Fire Department are on the scene, and according to officials, the man and child have minor injuries. Both are being checked to determine if further injuries were sustained.
The incident involved two vehicles. A car was stopped in the bike lane in front of Boston University's College of Communication building, and a SUV hit the stopped vehicle and jumped the curb onto the sidewalk.
The scene is now clear, and officials say citations will likely be issued.
