Police Identify Victims of Double Fatal Hartford Shooting

Police have released the identities of two people shot to death in Hartford, Connecticut, Tuesday night.

Ashley Spence, 21 and Cameron Mounds, Jr., 19, were shot and killed outside a home on Enfield Street, police said.

According to Hartford Deputy Chief Brian Foley, Mounds was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound.

Spence suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso was transported to St. Francis Hospital where she later died.

A third victim, 39-year-old Harold Cook, was also shot, but his injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.  He walked into the hospital on his own power.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 90-block of Enfield St.

Police say it is too early to say how or if all three victims knew each other or what the motive might have been behind the shooting.
