One person was killed in a single car crash in Westminster, Vermont, on Sunday night.
According to the Vermont State Police, the crash occurred on Milkway Road in Westminster.
Andrew Ielpi, age 24, was operating a John Deere 825i Utility Terrain Vehicle north on Milkway Road at a high rate of speed.
He sped over a large mount that covered a culvert in the road which caused him to lose control of the car and travel off the road.
His passenger was ejected from the car and struck a tree losing consciousness.
The victim was transported to the Bellows Fall Police Department where the passenger was pronounced dead.
Ielpi sustained minor injuries and was processed for driving under the influence.
