    1 Arrested, 1 Suspect Still At-Large in Fatal Boston Shooting

    Boston police arrested one suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Chinatown last week.

    Twenty-three-year-old Ricardo Edwards, of Boston, was apprehended by police on Sunday.

    Twenty-one-year-old Greg Wright, of Cambridge, who is also suspected in the shooting, remains at-large.

    Around 2:35 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, officers responded to a call for a person shot on Hudson Street. Officers identified a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital and later pronounced deceased.

    Commissioner William Evans praised the speedy response of the public and the police department, who arrested Edwards within 48 hours of the shooting. "I want to commend the public for helping our efforts to locate one of the two suspects wanted in connection to the homicide," said Evans, "When our officers and community members work together...those who commit crimes in our community don't stand a chance."

    Boston Police are asking for the public's help in apprehending Wright, pictured bellow. Community member who wish to assist the investigation can do so anonymously by calling 1 (800) 494-TIPS, or by texting the work 'TIP' to 27463.
