PD: 3 Gang Members Arrested for Drug Trafficking

The three males inside the vehicle were identified as members of local gangs in the city

Police in Worcester, Massachusetts, say three people, including one juvenile, are facing drug trafficking charges after they were pulled over for speeding Wednesday night.

Officers reported seeing a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed around 6:40 p.m. Police eventually found and pulled over the vehicle at 2 Harlow St.

The three males inside the vehicle were identified as members of local gangs in the city.

They have been identified as a 17-year-old male, who was driving, Kevin Jones, 23, and Kurtis Wilson, 24.

Police say Wilson kept looking at a backpack that was in reach of all three of them. Fearing there may have been a weapon in the bag, police frisked all of the males. No weapons were found.

Inside the backpack there was crack cocaine, cocaine, baggies, a phone and $1,436.

All three of the males were charged with drug trafficking.

Jones and Wilson are set to be arraigned Thursday. The juvenile will be arraigned at a later date.
