PD: Man Shot in His Sleep; No Arrests Made

Police say the suspect entered the home through an unlocked door, shot Bruce Glidden and fled the scene

Police in Scarborough, Maine, say no arrests have been made after a man was shot  in his sleep at his home early Monday morning.

According to necn affiliate WCSH, the man, 47-year-old Bruce Glidden, was shot in his torso around 1:30 a.m. at 104 Ash Swamp Road.

Police say the suspect entered the home through an unlocked door, shot Glidden and fled the scene.

Glidden's wife and two young children were in the home at the time. They were not injured.

Glidden was taken to Maine Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.
