PD: Man Threatened Woman With Knife, Struck Child

A New Hampshire man is accused of threatening a woman with a knife and striking a 9-year-old girl in the face, according to Nashua police.

Forty-five-year-old Nashua resident Scott Duplessis was arrested Sunday morning on charges of domestic violence, criminal threatening, and second degree assault.

Police say Saturday night a woman with whom Duplessis is in a relationship with told them that he threatened her with a knife two weeks prior. He also allegedly struck a child in the face, causing a non-life-threatening injury. The child is related to Duplessis.

He was held on $12,500 cash bail and will be arraigned Monday.
