1 Dead, 1 Injured in Milford, Mass. Stabbings

A 21-year-old man is dead and a second man is suffering from life-threatening injuries after both were stabbed in Milford, Massachusetts, according to police.

The stabbings occurred around 3:00 pm after a fight started outside on Green St.

According to the Worcester County DA's office, one man was confronted by two others who stepped out of a car as the first man exited 19 Green St.

During the confrontation, 19-year-old Jeremy Robin, armed with a knife, allegedly stabbed the other two men. He was arrested at the scene

"We have one male subject under arrest for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon," said Deputy Chief of Milford Police James Heron of Robin.

Holliston, Mass. man Timothy Commerford, 21, was taken to Milford Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

54-year-old Richard Garcia of Milford was transported to UMass-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester where he is in critical condition.

A woman, Alexandra Miranda, said that Robin is her boyfriend and alleged he was acting in self defense.

"I looked out the window and all I could see is someone wailing on him," said Miranda of the fight.

She said that she and Robin's mother went outside to try and help him.

"I had two people attacking me and his mom and they pulled out a knife on us. ... I had blood all over me," said Miranda.

This incident is under investigation.
