Officials say three people donning black hoodies and Timberland boots beat and kicked a man who had just delivered a pizza in Providence, Rhode Island and stole $17 from him.
The Providence Journal reports 18-year-old Augustin Cruz told police he had just collected the cash from a woman who answered the door last week when someone pushed him from behind and knocked him to the ground.
Police say the trio then beat him and ran off with the cash.
Cruz says he couldn't identify the assailants. He called police from Vasilios Pizza and reported the attack.
