Move over, Punxsutawney Phil. "Passy Pete" is the king of summer, and he's predicted that Belfast, Maine, will have another six weeks of summer.

According to necn affiliate WCSH, this was the Maine lobster's first prediction. He was caught in the Penobscot Bay and two scrolls were placed in front of him.

"Passy Pete" eventually picked the scroll with a prediction for a longer summer.

Co-founder Dave Crabiel said the event was just for good fun.
