A female student at the University of New Hampshire in Durham was assaulted over the weekend, according to campus police.
Police say the assault happened on a path between Hubbard Hall and Christensen Hall in the early morning hours Saturday.
Police say a male in a dark hooded sweatshirt grabbed the female student by the waist. When she broke away, he grabbed her again.
The man fled when she began yelling for help.
Police are increasing patrols of the area.
