Pats Win, Hang on to AFC #1 Seed

The team faces the Miami Dolphins next week

Tom Brady and LeGarrette Blount led the New England Patriots to a 23-14 win over the San Diego Charges on Sunday night, allowing them to maintain the top seed in the AFC with three games remaining.

Brady threw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns, one of them a 69-yarder to wide receiver Julian Edelman.

Blount, who rejoined the team a couple weeks ago, rushed for 66 yards on 20 carries, including one that he broke for 23 yards.

The Patriots rebounded from last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers to hang onto home field advantage in the playoffs. The team has three games remaining, starting with the Miami Dolphins next week and the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills after that to close out the regular season.
