Pedestrian Hit by MBTA Bus in Boston Dies From Injuries

The crash happened at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Theodore A. Glynnn Way

A man hit by an MBTA bus in Boston Thursday night has died, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. 

The crash happened just before 10:30 p.m. when a bus driver turned right onto Massachusetts Avenue from Theodore Glynn Way in the city's South End neighborhood, striking the pedestrian, according to the MBTA.

The man was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he later died Friday morning.

The victim's name has not been released; however, he has been described as a 70-year-old Boston man.

The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
