A Contoocook, New Hampshire woman has died from her injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Concord, NH on Monday.
Concord Police said that Yvonne Burroughs, 83 of Contoocook, NH passed away at Concord Hospital on Tuesday from multiple injuries to both her head and body.
Burroughs was struck by a pickup truck driven by Marianne Sharpe, 66, of Contoocook, NH on Loudon Road.
Police said that there was no crosswalk or traffic signal in the area of the accident. They do not believe that alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the accident.
Sharpe immediately stopped her vehicle after the collision and awaited the arrival of emergency services.
Burroughs was conscious and speaking to emergency officials on the way to the hospital, but her condition soon declined before her passing.
