A 60-year-old man is dead after being hit by a snow plow, Boston Police confirm.
The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Dorchester Avenue and Harbor View in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.
The driver is cooperating with police, who continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. Police ask anyone else who saw what happened to contact Boston Police.
The victim, 66-year-old Nick Tammaro, spent 28 years working for Lily Truck Leasing and was a member of the Local 25 Teamsters Union.
His family, including his son, Nick, and his daughter, Liz, issued a statement expressing appreciation for the outpouring of support after the crash.
