A woman was hit and killed by a train Friday evening in Lynn, Massachusetts, transit police confirm.
The victim, 48-year-old Patricia McCabe of Lynn, MA, was struck in the area of 325 Broadway Street by an MBTA Commuter Rail train.
The circumstances around the crash remain under investigation.
The incident caused delays on the commuter line.
