A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Waltham, Massachusetts, has died from his injuries, police said.
The driver of the 2013 Ford Focus involved in the crash, 33-year-old James Keating of 196 Worcester Ln. in Waltham, is being charged with negligent operation, improper operation and vehicular homicde while operating under the influence of drugs, according to police.
The identity of the victim, a 82-year-old man from Waltham, has not been released.
The crash happened Wednesday near Bentley College on Forest Street.
Police say the crash is still under investigation.
