A man was killed in an overnight shooting in Boston's Brighton neighborhood Thursday and police have identified the victim.
The shooting happened on Telford Street just after midnight.
Police say the victim, idenitifed as 30-year-old Desmond Joseph of Allston, died at the scene.
The suspect reportedly ran through the parking lot of the nearby shopping center and is still on the loose. Police say the many surveillance cameras in the area may help them crack the case.
There is no word on whether this was a random shooting or if the two knew each other.
