18-Year-Old Woman on Skateboard Hit by Truck

The vehicle was driven by an off-duty state police troop commander

A skateboarder has suffered serious injuries after colliding with a pickup truck in Lisbon driven by an off-duty state police troop commander.

State police say 18-year-old Emily S. Clogston of Warren hit the front driver's side of a pickup truck operated by 48-year-old Lt. Commander Todd Landry of Lisbon. He wasn't hurt.

The Caledonian Record reports he's the commander of New Hampshire State Police Troop F. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities said speed or negligence were not factors.

Clogston is being treated at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover.

The accident is being investigated.
