Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Busway

Police say a small plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Connecticut after losing power.

The pilot of a Cessna single-engine plane had to make an emergency landing Saturday afternoon on a busway in Connecticut.

The small plane lost power before the pilot could make it to Hartford-Brainard Airport. The pilot landed the aircraft near Flatbush and Newfield avenues on the Connecticut fastrak around 3:15 p.m.

The pilot walked away from the crash without serious injuries. Officials say he was the only person onboard.
