    Two teens have been charged with attempted murder after an 18-year-old was stabbed and a 19-year-old was shot in South Portland, Maine.

    Essa Sayed of Portland and Zachary Swain of Cape Elizabeth, both 18, are accused in the attack, which police say stemmed from an altercation Wednesday night in the parking lot of Wainwright Sports Complex.

    The shooting victim was treated and released from a hospital, but the stabbing victim remains hospitalized.

    According to police, the victims and suspects met for a "drug deal involving a relatively small quantity of marijuana."

    Sayed and Swain also face charges of aggravated assault.

    Police expect more arrests and/or charges to be made in the investigation.
