A 4-year-old boy drowned Friday evening on a Cape Cod beach, authorities confirm.
Police responded just after 5:30 p.m. to Corporation Beach in Dennis, Massachusetts, where a bystander had pulled the young boy from the water.
The child was unresponsive when crews arrived. He was transported to Cape Cod Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
