A Lowell, Massachusetts, man has been indicted for murder in connection with the death of a woman found deceased in his apartment.
On May 31, 2014, Lowell Police responded to 255 Walker Street for a well-being check on a resident. When officers arrived, they found a woman, later identified as Barbara Romano, with fatal stab wounds.
Authorities allege an argument over drugs escalated, resulting in the defendant stabbing the victim multiple times.
James Sheedy, 53, was indicted on a first degree murder charge on Sept. 23.
