Police Arrest Level 2 Sex Offender for Allegedly Exposing Himself

Norwood man arrested for exposing himself to two women

A Norwood man, who is a level 2 sex offender with a lengthy history of lewd conduct was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to two women on Wednesday.

Norwood Police arrested 49-year-old Chad Falcone for exposing himself to two women in their early twenties on August 16. Falcone reportedly exposed himself to the women near his home while he was wearing a 'green lacrosse-type pinnie around his waist like a diaper,' according to the report by the officer. Police responded to the scene to investigate, but were unable to locate Falcone at the time.

An arrest warrant was issued and Norwood police officers went to Falcone’s home to arrest him and saw Falcone in the window, but he refused to answer the door. Officers requested the a Massachusetts State Police K-9 to assist them with a search of Falcone’s home, and found him cowering in the basement under some clothes and boxes. Falcone was taken into custody without incident and transported to Norwood Police Headquarters where he was booked. 

Falcone is a Level 2 sex offender with a history of exposing himself dating back to 1989. Falcone has been arraigned on Open and Gross, Lewd and Lascivious and Annoying and Accosting charges on 14 prior occasions with 23 related charges, and has failed to register as a sex offender in the past. He was out on bail on two open cases, one in Taunton District Court and one in Bristol Superior Court. 

Falcone was arraigned in Dedham District Court and ordered held on $10,000 cash bail. His bail for the pending charges in Bristol Superior Court was revoked.
