Police at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst arrested three suspects for aggravated burglary after an incident on Sunday.
According to the police department, UMass students Garrett B Johnson, age 20 from Belle Mead, New Jersey and Damien Gan Earp, age 19, of Lynn, Mass., and Kyle David Morrill, age 18, of Lynn, Mass., were arrested and charged with armed burglary, larceny under $250, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, resisting a police officer making a lawful arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer.
On Sunday morning UMass Amherst police responded to a report of a burglary at Washington Hall.
The victims told officers three men in masks attempted to enter rooms on numerous floors int he building.
Officers arrested two suspects immediately as they were fleeing from a room.
The third suspect was able to flee and police asked students to help them identify him.
The two suspects police arrested at the scene had knives in their possession.

All three suspects were arraigned Monday.
