An SUV driver was killed in an early morning crash involving a deer in Rhode Island, according to state police.
Troopers responded to Route 295 southbound in Johnston around 5 a.m. Friday, where they found a GMC SUV rolled over on its passenger side just south of Greenville Avenue after hitting a deer.
The driver of the SUV, who wasn't identified, was ejected because he or she wasn't wearing a seat belt, and died at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
