A Vermont man was charged with drunken driving after he allegedly crashed his car into a police cruiser on Tuesday night.
According to WPTZ, Corey Ramos was charged with driving under the influence after the car he was driving hit a Rutland City police cruiser that was parked on South Main Street with its emergency lights on making a motor vehicle stop. The cruiser then collided with the vehicle the officer had pulled over.
The officer whose car was hit was taken to a local hospital with back pain. No one else was injured in the accident.
