A person working on the traffic unit for the Lexington Police Department in Massachusetts was hit by a car late Thursday night and a suspect has been arrested for OUI.
Police confirm the crash took place at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Follen Road just before 11:15 p.m.
The victim is not an officer, but was directing traffic at a construction site. The injuries the victim suffered are not life-threatening.
The driver stayed on the scene and has since been charged. The driver has been transported to Concord District Court for arraignment.
