A fatal crash on Route 114 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, overnight is under investigation.
Authorities say a man on a motorcycle struck two pedestrians in a crosswalk, and that the man on the motorcycle was then ejected and at some point was struck and killed by a car, which left the scene.
The two pedestrians, a man and a woman, were hospitalized for head injuries; one of them was taken to a Boston hospital by a medical helicopter. they are expectted to be alright.
Investigators say the car that left the scene is an early model black Mercedes, and say it's possible the driver may not have known.
The name of the motorcycle driver was not released; however, he was described as a 64-year-old from Methuen.
