Police Find Body in Vehicle in Londonderry, New Hampshire

Police are investigating after a body was found in a vehicle in Londonderry, New Hampshire, on Tuesday.

Authorities are on the scene in an industrial area in the northern part of town.

Londonderry Police Chief William Hart says it does appear to be related to the missing person out of Reading, Massachusetts.

Dorothy Brownsberger, 48, had not been heard from since leaving her house on Sunday night. She was driving a yellow Hummer with the Massachusetts license plate 785 JP1. The Eagle-Tribune is reporting that the vehicle found in Londonderry was in a yellow Hummer.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan issued a statement Tuesday afternoon announcing that Brownsberger had been found dead and that the case is no longer considered a criminal investigation.

"We would like to thank the Reading Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, the Londonderry Police Department and the public for their efforts to help locate Mrs. Brownsberger," the statement read. "Our thoughts now turn to her family and friends in this difficult time."

No further information is expected to be released.
