Police Investigate E-mail Threat Against Mass. High School

Authorities in Bedford, Mass. are investigating

A spokesperson for police in Bedford, Massachusetts, says authorities are investigating an e-mail threat against Bedford High School.

Classes at the high school were cancelled for the day out of precaution, although nothing was found inside the school.

Classes are scheduled to resume normally on Thursday.

The Bedford Free Public Library, located at 7 Mudge Way, was ordered to shut down, as well. 

Meanwhile, school officials in Bedford, New Hampshire, cancelled classes at their high school and middle school for the day, saying there had been a "credible bomb threat." Police conducted a search of Bedford High School and Lurgio Middle School and found nothing.

It is unclear at this time if the threats are related, but authorities say they are investigating the connection.
