Police in Barnstable, Massachusetts, are investigating a hit-and-run that took place early Friday evening.
A pedestrian was struck by a car in the area of 231 Main Street just after 5 p.m. The vehicle's operator took off from the scene.
Police have no information regarding the make of the car or license plate information at this time.
The victim was transported by ambulance for treatment. Their condition is not known.
