Police in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, reported to the scene of an accident Saturday near Elmdale Road where a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, officials said.
Once on the scene, officers said they located a Ford truck in the middle of the road with the horn sounding, but the vehicle was empty. The crashed happened around 12:45a.m.
When officers searched the area, authorities said they discovered a man laying in the woods further up the road. He was transported to Milford hospital for injuries.
Elmdale Road is closed from the bridge to Bacon Street, along with Cherry Street, authorities said. Drivers are asked to take alternative routes.
No other information has been released and police said they are investigating the incident.
