Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 22-year-old man in Willimantic.
Officers responded to Mansfield Avenue after the victim's family called 911 and said it’s too early to determine if there is a criminal element of the case.
Police have not released the victim's name, but said he died on the third floor of the home and was pronounced dead at 9:30 a.m.
“We have spoken to the family and members of the criminal investigation division are still interviewing immediate family," Cpl. Stanley Parizo, of the Willimantic Police Department, said.
The office of the chief medical examiner will perform an autopsy and police are waiting on toxicology results, which could take weeks.
No additional information was immediately available.
