Police Investigating After Violent Weekend in Manchester, New Hampshire

It was a violent weekend that has police in Manchester, New Hampshire, looking for answers.

Police responded to the area of 144 Lake Ave. Sunday around 4 p.m., and when they arrived, they found the body of a man outside who appeared to be shot.

The victim's identity has not been released.

According to the attorney general, an autopsy is scheduled for Monday to help determine the exact cause and manner of death.

Police say they have identified all of the people involved in the incident and are also investigating a potential self-defense claim.

Meanwhile, around 1 a.m. Saturday, police were called to Club Drynk in Manchester after a man was stabbed twice with a knife following an alleged altercation inside the club.

The victim was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. Twenty-six-year-old Joel Martin of Manchester now faces second degree murder charges in connection to the stabbing.
