New Hampshire State Police say a Massachusetts man died after he crashed his car into a moose Thursday night.

Local and state police police responded to multiple reports of a moose crash in Lincoln around 9 p.m. on the Franconia Notch Parkway.

Authorities say first responders found the 2003 Honda Civic involved in the crash with the moose, and that the driver, 58-year-old Michael Iadonisi of Ashland, died from his injuries at the scene.

No other details were immediately provided.

State police are asking anyone with information to contact Trooper Patrick Randall at (603) 846-3333.
