Police in Providence, Rhode Island, are investigating a fatal shooting.
According to necn affiliate WJAR, the shooting occurred in the area of Ives and Trenton Streets around 1 a.m.
A 38-year-old male victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No suspects are in custody.
