Police Investigating Targeted Home Invasion

Police are investigating a potentially targeted home invasion that occurred over the weekend at a mobile home in southern Maine.

Authorities say the burglary happened around 7 p.m. Sunday when two men entered the home on Vine Street in South Berwick.

Police say the men, one reportedly displaying a knife, ransacked the residence and appeared to be looking for very specific items. An initial investigation found that the suspects specifically targeted the home. Police haven't said if anything was taken.

A woman at the home suffered minor injuries but was not transported to a hospital.

The suspects are described as white men in their mid-20s to 30s. They both were wearing jeans, tan boots and hooded sweatshirts during the break-in.
