A man got into an altercation with a officer in Attleboro, Massachusetts near the Rhode Island state line early Saturday morning, according to Attleboro Police.
At approximately 3:47 a.m. the Attleboro Police Department received several calls about a man walking down County Street flagging down motor vehicles near the Rhode Island State line.
Upon arrival, police encountered the man walking on County Street in the area of Read Street. An altercation ensued and both the officer and suspect suffered undisclosed injuries as a result of the incident. Both were transported to area hospitals as result of their injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Attleboro Police Department.
