A man stabbed his wife and his dog to death before killing himself Thursday in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, police say.
According to necn affiliate WJAR, authorities found the dog dead, the woman unresponsive, and the man "barely conscious," all with stab wounds, just after 5 p.m. at 192 Meadow St.
The man, who was 52, and his wife, who was 50, were both taken to Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead.
The incident remains under investigation.
