Authorities are investigating after a Massachusetts man somehow lost control of his car and drove into his own pool, with his grandson in the vehicle at the time.
Police in Barre say it happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday when Jeffrey Harnois and his grandson were headed out for some errands.
Somehow the driver lost control and accelerated his black Buick nose-first into his own pool, according to police.
It toppled a fence, shattered glass and did a lot of other damage.
Both Harnois and his grandson suffered minor injuries and were taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, but investigators say the situation could have been much worse.
