Police: Man Sexually Assaulted Sacred Heart University Student

Fairfield, Conn. Police released a description of the suspect who sexually assaulted a Sacred Heart University student

A Sacred Heart University student was sexually assaulted in Fairfield, Connecticut, early Monday morning and police have released a sketch of the attacker in hopes that someone can identify him.

The student was assaulted around 3 a.m. on Monday, when she was going into her residence on Berkeley Road, police said.

Police said the home was also burglarized and the assailant was a short, stocky man in his 20s with some facial acne.

The man spoke with a Spanish accent, is between 5-feet-2 to 5-feet-6 and has dark spikey hair and light-colored eyes, police said.

The victim didn’t see or hear a vehicle leave the scene.

Berkeley Road is in the southeast section of town near Tunxis Hill Park, police said.
