Police are searching for a suspect accused of shooting at an officer while attempting to break into a home in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Friday morning.
Officers responded to an address in the vicinity of Fifth Street and Gore Street for a report of a breaking and entering in process.
Police located a suspect outside of a vacant home which was under construction.
The suspect fled and the officers gave chase.
During the foot chase the suspect fired at least one shot at an officer, who took cover and returned fire.
The officer was uninjured and it is unknown if the suspect was injured.
