Police: Man Went 64 MPH Over Speed Limit in Bedford, New Hampshire

Police have arrested a man they say was going 64 mph over the speed limit Friday morning in Bedford, New Hampshire.

According to police, 29-year-old Luis Torres of Manchester was distracted by a mobile device when he was going 119 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Officials say Torres passed cars on the right when he was speeding down the FE Everett Turnpike.

Torres is charged with reckless driving and use of a prohibited electronic mobile device.

The suspect was released on $750 personal recognizance bail. He is due in court on Oct. 8.
